This was a very exciting, heartfelt thrill ride. The amount of depth given to the characters legitimately surprised me and paid off in an extremely touching ending. The visual storytelling and things they were able to do with the perspective this movie was told was no short of genius level storytelling.
John Cho also gives possibly his best performance. My main issues with this movie are it's absurd amount of red herrings throughout the film that I feel on repeated viewing will just be those bathroom scenes and some humor that felt very oddly placed and sometimes forced.
Also, I'm not sure how I feel about this movie's decision to add a musical score and so many cuts and zooms despite the fact that we are witnessing all events on a computer monitor and various found footage type mediums.
Beyond that, this movie was a tension filled blast with touching moments and a surprising amount of brains behind its overall meaning.
