Review of Searching (2018) by Tj S — 30 Aug 2018

I'm a big fan of the thriller genre and this movie didn't disappoint as far as the genre tropes and story told. I also really enjoyed John Cho's acting in this one. My only gripe is the constant use of technology to show the events unfold.

Yes I know that going into this it was going to be like that and yes some of the parts were filmed in a clever way. I didn't completely hate it but there were a few scenes that were a bit ridiculous in order to keep up with that theme (Funeral home live stream).

But Overall this was a really good movie and a nice entry for the genre, especially for the 2018 film year.
