It basically alternates between Hopeful and Triumphant throughout the whole movie. The races are awesomely filmed (although the dummy horses weren't done so well) but don't build at all - there are what, three races? And they're all THE! MOST! CLIMACTIC! MOMENT! OF THE FILM!
