A pleasant demonstration of what modern day oscar hopefuls can do with enough money and a quality crew.
You would hope that some of the characters would get more development, or attention instead of the film makers assuming that you think Seabiscuit is as important to the people's lives as they do. Some proof would be nice, but then again how much can you fit into two hours?
Chris Cooper loves playing a wise old man as much as Sean Connery or Morgan Freeman and I daresay he's just as good at it.
