Review of Seabiscuit (2003) by Lynn F — 12 Nov 2012
How can anyone give this film a negative review?!? It's a perfectly told story about several individuals who are struggling through life for a variety of reasons, along with the rest of society at the time as it's set during the depression.
Incorporating a Ken Burns like narration that tells the story of the troubled times, while also taking us through the legendary story of this Cinderella horse who manages to bring the whole group along to the ball.
It's unbelievable that such a dramatic story is actually true and Seabiscuit was a horse that was the chamption of the working man during the toughest of times. This is a superiour film (almost at the top of my top ten list of best films of all time).
I have watched it well over 30 times, and it holds up each and every viewing.
