Review of Sea of Love (1989) by Joe B — 24 May 2008
Nice 'comeback' role for Al Pacino in this serial killer thriller. Great writing, directing, and acting are all on display here. What I enjoyed so much was that Pacino and Barkin (apart from having excellent and volitile chemistry) are actually allowed time to create characters with histories, secrets, and flaws.
It's a very adult film in that respect.
