Review of Se7en (1995) by Alejandro R — 28 Feb 2015

I remember wanting to watch this in theaters in 1995, but missed it. Was great to finally watch it in 2015. Even 20 years late, it holds up well as a great psychological thriller. Brad Pitt's performance sometimes feels a bit over the top, but not so much that it stains the overall film. Kevin Spacey was great and the timing of his entrance in the story was incredibly well done. I didn't even know he was in the film.

Overall it's definitely worth watching and stands the test of time, because of the strength of the story as a very intelligent and disturbing thriller.
