Review of Se7en (1995) by Movieguys — 18 Sep 2013

So, what is in the box? We will never know, and that's what makes Se7en so mystical and intriguing. Technically I can't spoil the ending, because we all have our own interpretation of it ourselves. Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman blow us away with a smart script that knows exactly what's going on in the movie, and the grisly crime scenes make us nauseous just to look at, but they are pure genius, especially when you know they were executed by the oddly satisfying Kevin Spacey as John Doe.

Nary has a crime thriller akin to this one come along that has topped this movie.
