Review of Se7en (1995) by Liz K — 13 Mar 2013

I spent 17 years not watching this because people had convinced me it was far too gross. I had built it up in my head to be much more disgusting than it was. So that worked out nicely for me. I was somehow underwhelmed by Morgan Freeman's performance, which is definitely a first, and think the plot could've done more... but I despise Gwyneth Paltrow, so at least it was a happy ending.

I too would've liked to read the notebooks though. Surely if they were real and took two months to write they have to exist in scans somewhere on the internet.
