Seven is eerie from start to finish, beginning it all with a creepy credits display and ending it in the most shocking of ways. It uses brilliantly the noir visual style to set the mood and then delves into the dark corners of the human mindset, offering great performances by the two main characters, a mesmerizing dialogue and a breath-taking editing in the final minutes.
