An amazing film tracking inmates in a juvenile detention facility. Beautifully shot in a minimal style that often reminds of Bresson, but with more camera movements.The subject matter is rendered disgusting and the tension keeps escalating.
By the end the sense of futility is brought completely to its logical conclusion.
