Review of Scum (2014) by Amanda Ø — 11 Nov 2009

I watched the 1977 (banned) TV version rather than the 1979 feature film. This film follows a group of young men as they enter a Borstal around the time the film was made. They become a part of the very violent life within, which is run by bullies from both the staff and other prisoners and which inevitably ends in tragedy.
