Top flick. powerful - a Kubrickian-like expose of evil, power and man's innate ability to all these ends. Winstone was/is as toug as old boots and has dined out on this show ever since as a tough guy.
the riot at the end was clockwork orange meets lord of the flies with some thoughtful dialogue about the fine line between good and evil. top show.
