Review of Scrooged (1988) by Kenneth B — 28 Dec 2012
A Christmas Carol has been re-imagined so many times that it perhaps feels overly familiar. It is necessary therefore to be inventive with any such adaptations. Scrooged is flawed yet it contains some nice ideas and a few belly laughs but probably not enough funny moments to make it a great comedy.
Bill Murray cast as the 'Scrooge' character is at least inspired casting.
