Okay so I only watched this movie recently (slightly out of its 1980 context) but I didn't find it funny at all. It was creepy. And weird. I did enjoy seeing Karen Allen in a movie other than Indiana Jones, but Carol Kane pissed me off SO MUCH! Which was probably the point but still, it really annoyed me.
Honestly, I think there are much better adaptations of A Christmas Carol out there. Charles Dickins would be turning in his grave if he saw this!
