Review of Scrooge (1970) by Michael G — 19 Dec 2008
A musical interpretation of the classic Christmas tale. Though the songs are catchy sadly the film is let down by some horrendous and questionable dialogue changes from the original story and a bizarre performance in the lead role by Albert Finney.
Still, even this can't spoil this timeless tale of redemption and the film is still enjoyable despite its shortcomings.
