Review of Screwballs (1983) by Bill B — 07 Jul 2011
It's madness and mayhem... and outrageous fun, when we find five T & A High School male students on detention and scheming for revenge on the gorgeous, but snobby school queen, Purity Busch - temptress responsible for the boys remand. The misadventures begin when the boys decide that somehow they must expose the virginal, everteasing Purity.
So commence a series of setups ending in an attempt at lacing Purity's punch with Dr G Strings Spanish Fly at a teachers and students function. But, accident prone Brent slips and successfully lands the Spanish Fly in the entire bowl of punch, turning the gathering into an orgy like fiasco. The Screwballs finally achieve their ambitious goal in an all out, no holds barred, hilarious climax unveiling the demure Miss Purity to one and all at the high school formal.
Stars Peter Keleghan, Lynda Speciale, Kent Deuters, Jason Warren, Linda Shane, Jim Coburn, Raven De La Croix, Donnie Bowes and Terrea Foster.
Directed by Rafal Zielinski.
