Review of Screwball Hotel (1988) by Shawn W — 25 Jan 2012
Three guys dishonourably discharged from a military academy try to save the debt-ridden hotel they get jobs at. It appears minimum wage laws do not apply at this hotel as the guys work for room and board while raising $300k for the owner.
Improves after a somewhat dubious start. I did think the accidental use of cocaine as an artificial dessert sweetener was a decent subplot but failing to use Corinne Alphen to maximum effect is a blemish.
Sadly, Alphen last film role.
