This is the kind of movie that was cast for wokeness. It features all these generic hispanic, asian, black, lesbians, and every white person is dating a black person. None of these kids have any presence whatsoever and they don't draw you in so that you relate or care about them.
The story itself wasn't too bad, it did have some twists and turns. Overall, just a mediocre remake, with a sub-par cast that was hired based on ethnicity instead of talent. Hollywood can feel good about themselves for "making a statement.
" Now, if they would only focus on making a decent movie.
