Review of Scream and Scream Again (1970) by Private U — 21 Dec 2007
Virtually incoherent screamer, in which nothing much happen amidst lots of intrigue and a welter of cameos. The big stars of 60s horror barely share the screen, and Christopher Lee?s role (he answers the phone a couple of times, before serving as a dues ex machine) is particualry laughable.
Unusually for a horror film, the best thing here is the thrilling car chase, which unusually seems to be shot on country lanes.
