Each sequel dilutes the intelligence of the original film, which was a breath of fresh air to the genre by referencing many cliches of horror movies and turning them on their head.
This is practically a remake and tries to justify itself by referencing the cliches of remakes. It doesn't work though because it's stupid.
Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox & David Arquette look far too old for these shenanigans. One can only assume they really needed the money.
