Scream 4 is the best in the Scream series and its not only the best in the Scream series this movie is also one of 2011's most surprising Horror films and it also works as one of the best revived sequels since Final Destination 5. I totally adore this movie and its way better than its awful and terrible predecessor. The plot of this film takes place after the events of Scream 3 where Sidney Prescott returns home to Woodsboro for her book tour. There she returns and meet up with one of her old friends Dewey and Gale who are now married and she also meets her cousin Jill Roberts. But soon when more murders are happening again Sidney discover that there are new rules rather than having the same old rules which will be done in a remake style and Sidney must find the killer before she becomes the next victim once again. To be honest I totally adore this movie and this movie has all of the best ideas from the original Scream and its not as campy as Scream 2 and not a big letdown as Scream 3. I totally adore Scream 4 a lot and I love the new style that they did in this film. This revived sequel offers the best ideas that Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson hasn't done before and I totally enjoyed it a lot. What's great about Scream 4 is that the whole film is pleasant, promising and very suspenceful as well. The whole movie has the best suspense and tension and there are lots of scares and thrills that are fast paced and well used like the unexpected opening scene, the Stab A Thon barn scene and the hospital finale is one of the best scenes in the whole movie. And I enjoyed every scene in the whole film so far. What I also like about Scream 4 is of course its basic plot. The basic plot is a seriously huge improvement over its terrible predecessor and all of the ideas for the plot in this movie is just plain great and I adore the ideas of the whole movie thanks to Kevin Williamson returning to write once again on the big screen that's what made the Scream movies famous you have a good writer and a super talented Horror director who has been very good in making good old fashioned Horror films since the 80's and I love the execution of Scream 4 overall. What I also like about Scream 4 is that the whole film is full of kills that are super tense, thrilling and fast paced at the exact same time. There's lots of kills in this film that are super thrilling to watch and the gore is also well used in certain parts. The opening kill scene is one of the best kills in Horror history and one of the most suspenceful scenes as well in the whole movie. Olivia's death is probably the most unexpected kill scene in Scream 4 and I totally love that scene. The scene where Rebecca(who is Sidney's publicist)gets killed in the parking garage is one of the most tense scenes in Scream 4. The scene where Kate(who is Jill's aunt)gets killed by Ghost face is probably the most intense kill scene in the hole film. Hoss' and Perkins' death is one of the goriest and the most intense kill scenes in the whole movie. Robbie's death is probably the most gruesome death scene in the film and Kirby's death is one of the most unexpected kill scenes in the whole film next to Olivia's death. While Trevor's death is one of the most intense kills in the film and Charlie's demise is very similar to the scene where Billy Loomis stabs Stu in the stomach in the original Scream. Now the acting is great the performances of the casts did a really good job with their work in the film so far and the returning casts did a wonderful job with their work in the film even the new casts since this is a revived sequel which means you have the old casts back and you also have some new casts as well like Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. Neve Campbell did a really good job once again with her role in the film as the protagonist Sidney Prescott and she's so gorgeous and prettier than ever. David Arquette and Courtney Cox did a good job with their roles once again as Dewey and Gale and the new casts like Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere did a really good job with their work in the whole film. And Emma Roberts is so beautiful and very pretty since I saw her in the Nickelodeon TV Show Unfabulous and Hayden Panettiere is just as pretty as I expected since I saw her role in the TV show Heroes and overall all of the casts did a really good job with their work in the whole movie so far. Director Wes Craven did a really good job with his work in Scream 4 and he seriously did a better job with his work on this movie than his work in Scream 3 although I don't blame him for making Scream 3 it was Ehren Kruger who I blame for writing the story of that film and I'm glad Craven had Kevin Williamson return to write the screenplay of Scream 4 for the third time and I also like this film along with Wes Craven's previous movie which is My Soul To Take and I hope Craven makes another Scream film with this time Kevin Williamson still the writer and Alexandre Bustillo and Julian Maury(Inside directors) or Martyrs director Pascal Laugier to do the re writes because I want Scream 5 to be darker and scarier than the first four Scream films. Overall Scream 4 gets a 10/10 because this is the best film in the series and it is a huge improvement over its terrible predecessor and this is 2011's best Horror film next to Paranormal Activity 3 and Final Destination 5.
