Review of Scream 4 (2011) by Moush A — 20 Jul 2013
Honestly, nostalgia is probably the only reason I watched this one. Was it a good movie? No. Was it scary? Absolutely not. In fact, it ended up being hilarious! And for good reason. The 90s horror/slasher genre has been such a pop culture phenomenon, that even the movie itself made fun of it.
I truly think the franchise shouldn't have been rebooted. It's not the same. And ends up being just a parody of itself. Although, it did bring back memories, making me wanna watch the originals again just for the sake of it!
