Its pretty much the sequel of the first movie Scream, you don't need to see the other two films of the trilogy Scream to understand it. YES, it has some plot issues.

YES, a sequel wasn't essential to be made. But it was extremely enjoyable. If someone loved the previous Scream movies, he will probably like this one too. Loved that they did a lot references to other horror movies. It was smart and they gave us a lot of suspects before they revealed the killer. They updated it in an interesting way. It has more extreme deaths and now virgins can die. Who doesn't like that ..??

I love Neve Campbell and in this movie her acting was awesome. Also liked Hayden Panettiere and her role as badass movie geek. Just loved her.
