Years later after the presumably final movie Scream 3, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson work together again to create Scream 4 which I'm glad that Kevin Williamson wrote this instead of Ehren Kruger, even though he did a rewrite of it.

As is, Scream 4 is a great movie that is definitely better than Scream 3. The original cast are terrific in this and I'm glad that they still try their best. The new cast are great, especially Emma Roberts.

Some of the new characters are decent at best, but some of the other characters are not memorable and were just there to die. The humor is really funny, and the soundtrack by Marco Beltrami is really good.

The script is pretty good, although there were some lines that gripped me a little. When it goes to the reveal, it's still a surprise to me even after the fourth time, and when it gets to the reasoning behind it, it's actually the most messed up reason of the series, and it makes me mad because that's how it is now these days.

The action is pretty good, and it has its tense moments. The scares are not effective, and that has always been the weak aspect of the series even though there are some good scares in the other films.

Even though there were more problems in this than Scream 1 and 2, Scream 4 is an enjoyable movie that some people would probably think of it as Scream 3 which I'm done with, even though I did like Scream 3.

I'm glad that the series is good from beginning to possibly end, and they all have some creative things in it that never felt like it was running out of ideas.
