Scream 4 is a very good movie, both as part of the franchise, and as a standalone. It also stands as a good slasher flick. In my opinion nothing was overdone in the film. The script and plot where very inventive, and will keep you guessing until the end.
I will admit, I feared that SCREAM 4 was just another cheap cash-in. What Williamson and Craven did here was impressive and ingenious. Some rare moments in the film were even mind-blowing! The cast is great and the film is hugely entertaining.
