Scream 4's awkward pacing in the middle and some sometimes bad dialogue are very small prices to pay for a good movie. A clever script, a consistent cast, and the ways that Wes Craven refreshens the franchise are satisfying.
Whether you think that this is better than the original Scream or not, it is the best since the original and is definitely worth checking out.
