Its true, its not particularly scary. Once you've made enough sequels, it kind of loses its effect. However, this is definitely an entertaining movie. I laughed out loud a number of times, and unlike a lot of horror films, it wasn't unintentional.
Was also great from a nostalgia point of view. Would definitely recommend to fans of the series. For those disappointed with Scream 3, you could quite easily ignore that movie and pretend this was the real Scream 3.
