Scream 4 is not so much as a sequel but more as a tribute to the orignal film. Though it sometimes is cheesy due to the cliches, its an improvment with better dialouge, suspense and twists than both sequels had combined together.
Overall Scream 4 does not as so much meet the standards of the orignal film, but reintrudecs to orignal fans and new fans the orignal feel and tone that the first film had unlike any of the sequels did, without a doubt the forth fillm of the franchise is not as good as the orignal, but it is by far the best sequel of the franchise.
