Review of Scream 3 (2000) by Chris B — 21 Feb 2012
By far the worst of the Scream films, this unnecessary third outing is literally becoming what the first two spoofed. I mean this truly as it literally tries to continue along the lines of the first two films but ultimately becomes a meaningless and contrived sequel.
The whole series has become stale now and is clearly only trying to rake in any money it can and cliches and "surprise twists" can't help it now. Poorly developed characters and uninteresting kills all just add up to a bunch of screen time wasted and meaningless.
While the first two aren't my cup of tea they both due a decent job at what they are trying to be, but do yourself a favor and stop after the second Scream film.
