Review of Scream 3 (2000) by Wyland C — 10 Nov 2013
Hmmmm, Scream 3 well this is what I have to say about it.
What I did like. I thought the opening scene was suspenseful it made you think of what you would do if this did happen. Also I liked the whole Stab 3 set idea. Where Sidney got to revisit Woodsboro on a set. Also the same cast was in it. I didn't expect the killer or killers at the end.
What I don't like. So after seeing the fourth one I think they could have skipped this one even though I like seeing the story continued. The opening scene was suspenseful, but it wasn't as fun as the first two. I mean the whole movie was a clever idea, but since Kevin Williamson didn't write it, it seemed like a regular slasher film not a Scream film. Also I didn't like any new characters they brought in. Also the deaths were predictable and not as clever as the first. I kind of question why Wes Craven said yes to this script. I didn't expect the killer or killers, but for some reason I didn't care.
Overall the movie is a decent movie, but a bad Scream sequel.
