Review of Scream 3 (2000) by Alex S — 28 May 2014

Scream 3 was a bit of a disappointment for me. I was really confused between the movie itself, and the movie-within-a-movie, 'Stab 3'. There were a lot of unecessary killings that didn't seem to contribute to the storyline, whereas in the previous Scream films, all the murders had some reasoning behind them.

I liked the plot twist at the end, however, and also the theme of trilogies and the reappearance of movie-buff Randy. Overall, I'd give it a B-. It was enjoyable, but definitely not the best of the Scream franchise.
