Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Robin W — 30 Apr 2013
The first sequel in the Scream franchise is not quite as good as the first film, but since it is both a tribute and a parody to the classic slasher sequels, which are never as good as the first film maybe that is to be expected, and it is even a cliché that is frequently used as a joke in the film.
Even though it´s a whodunnit film, guessing the killers identity is very hard, but unlike the first film there are actually some small clues in the dialog and with some knowledge about slaher films the mystery can be solved.
