Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Brad G — 28 Mar 2011
Scream: The College Years, complete with awful neo-hippie soundtrack and goofy Jerry O'Connel frat boyfriends. The trio of Dewey, Sidney, and Weathers still works and I can't not love the addition of movie geek Timothy Olyphant but the action/violence feels cheap/obvious.
Plus, the reveal certainly doesn't hold the power of the original's climax. So-so. VF.
