Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Eunjun C — 15 Apr 2011
Another good film from the Scream franchise. As with the first, it has its pretensions, but the way it looks at genre movies and the film within a film aspect with Stab was an excellent way forward to make it something different from the original.
The only real let down with this film is the ending, which was maybe a twist too many. Again, performances are good and the cast are having fun and I found Ghostface much more effective here than in Scream.
