Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Jarrett M — 01 Jan 2012
Scream 2 brings a little bit more to the table while still following the same basic idea that the first film did. There is a bigger cast, more brutal kills, more blood, and more humor than was presnt in the first film, but with these additions, it still retains it's self awareness and earns its place in the annals of history.
What's not to like about a sequel that has characters that openly discusses how bad sequels are. The cast is good and even though the reveal at the end is slightly weaker this time around, it is still satisfying.
If you liked the first, you'll most likly like this one.
