Review of Scream 2 (1997) by Austin S — 02 Mar 2012

Overall I did enjoy this film but I have to say its deffinatly not as good as the original. I think there is only one true downfall in this film and I think it has to be boredom. Really thoe I found scream 2 to be very boring for the first half of the movie. The first at leased 30 minutes is just charictor development witch is good to have but thats all this film really had for at leased the first 30 min. At leased in the 1st one there was back and forth between who's the killer and charictor development. But not in the sequel so I think the boredom aspect really hurts this film well it deffinatly hurt my enjoyment of the film. But there was some things that I accully thought were more clever than the original like who the main killer was. I thought that reveal was quite awesome indeed but there was one big thing I didn't like about the.

Killers accomplise this time around and it was the fact that they didn't know each other (the main killer and the killers helper) and I just thought it was even worse because the main killer found the accomplise online. So I just found that to be really lame and cheesy. But overall the sequel was quite decent and I really liked how this film opens but I really found this film to be very boring but watch it if you want to see how this series continues or if you want to see some pretty cool deaths. But if your looking for a VERY exciting film I really don't think this ones for you well at leased for the most part.
