Scream is a perfect horror movie. Everything works, from the self aware and witty script to the well fleshed out and performed characters. The added layer of a “whodunit” creates so much tension and suspense, elevating it high above most other films in its genre.
It’s sharp, focused, and filled with fun twists and turns.
