Review of Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) by Ydnar4 — 12 Dec 2015

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is another addition to the already oversaturated zombie genre. Its not a Zombieland rip off by any means but is similar enough and its not nearly as good. The leads are all fairly enjoyable in this movie, everyone gives a pretty good performance but something is definitely missing and that is comedy.

I never felt like there were really any fresh jokes in this and I know that the horror comedy genre is already stretched pretty thin. It was also pretty slow getting underway for a 90 minute movie. I wasn't expecting Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse to be good and it wasn't, I'm really not any worse for it.
