It doesn't attempt to achieve a ton, but it has a heart, and it's not nearly as snarky or ironic as most teen flicks or zombie stories. It actually gains a ton of momentum toward the end, so don't walk out on this movie.
The humor is dead pan as hell. If you're looking for a B-movie that you can laugh with (and at), you could do much worse.
