Review of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) by Aaron C — 03 Jun 2018

An incredible film and one of my absolute favourites.

This film simply oozes charm and makes for a thoroughly entertaining watch. It's action is well choreographed and exciting, it's comedy is memorable and quoteable, it's central characters (namely Scott and Ramona) are endearing and oddly nuanced. Brilliant performances all around. The film has an incredibly unique style which stands out and only adds to its charm and aesthetics as a reference to its comic book roots, managing to be one of Edgar Wright's most visually exciting films of all (which is saying something).
