Trying to cram six graphic novels into one movie is a big job but this film pretty much gets it done. While not as faithful to the original ending as I'd like, it's still pretty enjoyable. In the comics you realize that G-man is more openly blatant about collecting and ownership, hence the gigantic apparatus hosting all of his exes in cryogenic-like tubes, powerless to leave him.

Ramona is just one more girl to add to his collection. It seems that the last graphic novel wasn't finished at the time of shooting which explains the difference. While the comic ending feels much more large and grandiose, the film still gets the overall essence right.

Cera really nails the humor, awkwardness, and naivity of Pilgrim's character, and the translations of biting one-liners and verbal abuses into extraordinary fight sequences had me reminiscing about Swordfighting in the old Monkey Island games, where it isn't so much about the moves, but the put-downs behind them.
