Review of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) by Paul N — 07 Jul 2013

I can't see why this did so 'bad' at the box office. A pretty good film that stayed true to its premise. Those that played Hai Karate, Street Fighter and Sonic will likely enjoy it more than me, and maybe that's why the younger generation didn't buy in? Whilst the acting wasn't sublime, when it fell into ham territory, that's what the story called for, it wasn't the actor's lack of skill.

A modern day classic/cult? pushing it a bit, just a solid bit of good fun.
