The comic book style is new, interesting, and well suited to the film. The video game visual effects worked well. The tongue-in-cheek writing and direction are also well done. The script and acting, not so much.
Michael Cera plays a slacker (is there anything else he can play)?? Although he's suited to the part, his one-dimensional schtick gets old quickly.
