Review of Scoop (2006) by Peter W — 14 Jun 2008
This movie was interesting, and the whole plot was kind of intruiging and strange, but the whole time I felt like it wasn'tall that much of a mystery at all. I thought Hugh Jackman was well cast, considering how fast you can go from loving him to hating him and then right back again.
As with most of his movies Woody Allen attempts to provide the comic relief, but in the end just winds up making the scenes where you have to listen to him talk painful to watch. Normally I can take him, but I just really feel like he tried way too hard.
This definitely wasn't the worst movie that I've seen lately, but I feel like I could have spent my time much better.
