Review of Scoop (2006) by Mikel K — 19 Dec 2008
Cute Woody Allen trifle - a comedy thriller that doesn't do anything more than offer a diverting 90 minutes. Scarlett Johansson is wonderful to look at but can't do the neurotic comedy that Allen writes - she's no Keaton or even Farrow.
Hugh Jackman is good, as is Ian McShane. Not as awful as Hollywood Ending, but neither is it one of Allen's better films.
