Review of Scoop (2006) by Chris C — 22 Dec 2008
If "Match Point" proved that Woody Allen had the ability to resurrect his career and come back with a vengeance, "Scoop" is a step backwards for the aging director. Though fun and ultimately enjoyable, its quirky blend of romance and mystery never quite works as well as we would like due, in part, to an anticlimactic climax.
