Review of Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf (1988) by Andrew G — 26 Sep 2009
I don't want to class this as a film, or at least a part of the Scooby-Doo franchise. It cheaply copped out by just attatching the name of the most well loved cartoon dog onto a handful of predictable and cliché stories.
Scooby-Doo, along with Sonic the Hedgehog, was one of my all time childhood characters that I loved, and it pains me to think that the creators of him stooped this low and horrible. I understand that this didn't get a theatrical release, but it's still no excuse when even the scenes with the Great Dane are nothing short of boring.
