Review of Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004) by Dustin M — 14 Aug 2012
Believe it or not, but this movie is actually worse than the first Scooby Doo movie! The first one was a movie people wanted to be good, but it just wasn't so why the hell would they make a sequel.
Yeah it's annoying when they make sequels to bad movies, but you know what's worse, the sequel being shittier than the first one. Yes this movie has even more awful jokes than the first one does and it has even worse acting in it! If you don't believe that's possible than I suggest you give this movie a watch and see for yourself.
The story of this movie is that the gang is investigating the plans of a masked villain who is planning to take control of the city of Coolsville. Their investigation leads them to the Coolsonian Museum where they are attending a book release red carpet event, along the way they encounter the mysterious museum curator and a pesky reporter who are played by Seth Green and Alicia Silverstone.
So yeah believe it or not this movie actually has a dumber storyline than the first movie, for anyone who has seen this movie you all know that this movie is just stupid. Yes the special effects do improve in this movie, but the acting is much shittier and the story has so many plot holes you just can't help but be annoying of everything in this movie.
If you think the special cameos by Seth Green and Alicia Silverstone help this movie your wrong because they too act horribly in this one and they don't give a single good joke which is disappointing because I thought Seth Green could give us something.
But no this movie is just your plain old stupid Scooby Doo movie, I'm really glad they never made a Scooby Doo 3 because that would have been just torture. So yeah skip this movie and just watch the cartoon because the cartoon is very funny and really fun to watch, unlike the two crappy ass Scooby Doo movies.
