Review of School Ties (1992) by Hung-Ya L — 12 Aug 2014
I somehow remember this drama so clearly when I first watched it on HBO as a kid. I knew Chris O'Donnell by then already but did not quite know Brendan Fraser, let alone Matt Damon. Years later, I once happened to see it on HBO again, I realized that there were so much details I still remember in my head.
It was also one of those films which taught me something about "Jews", by which I mean, why Jews have always been a subject when people talked about them. It is a very good drama with great great performance from relatively unknown and young and up and coming actors at the time.
It was also one of the few good works from Brendan Fraser. Matt Damon was brilliantly mean, too!
